Prevention, cosmetic innovation, and support for scientific research: the partnership between KIKO Milano and Fondazione Umberto Veronesi ETS
For several years now, KIKO Milano and Fondazione Umberto Veronesi ETS have been working together in the fields of scientific research and prevention awareness: a partnership that began in 2021 and has now been renewed for 2026.
This year, KIKO Milano will support the Foundation established in 2003 by Professor Umberto Veronesi — which today funds oncology research as well as prevention and health education initiatives — through the launch of its Sun Care line, combining prevention, cosmetic innovation, and commitment to scientific research.
The Sun Care products — including sunscreens sprays, creams, sticks, and after-sun treatments — have been developed to protect the skin before, during, and after sun exposure thanks to dermatologically tested formulations. Part of the proceeds from sales will also be donated to Fondazione Veronesi to support research projects focused on the study and prevention of skin cancers.
The initiative, which will also include awareness activities and an internal training program within the company, is part of KIKO Milano’s broader commitment to promoting people’s wellbeing and supporting prevention and scientific research initiatives for its customers and communities.
“We are proud to continue our journey alongside Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, an organization that represents a benchmark in scientific research and the promotion of prevention. With the Sun Care 2026 project, we aim to make a concrete contribution to the advancement of skin cancer research while also raising awareness about the importance of properly protecting the skin,” commented Simone Dominici, CEO of KIKO Milano.
“Renewing our collaboration with KIKO Milano means continuing a shared path that places people’s health, prevention, and the value of scientific research at its core. Thanks to this new initiative, we will be able to continue concretely supporting researchers’ work and contribute to the development of increasingly advanced knowledge in such an important field as skin health. We are also particularly proud that this initiative combines support for research with an important awareness campaign promoting correct preventive behaviors,” stated Monica Ramaioli, General Director of Fondazione Umberto Veronesi ETS.
The partnership between KIKO Milano and Fondazione Umberto Veronesi is a strong and meaningful alliance: a concrete commitment to supporting research and spreading a culture of prevention that can truly make a difference.
